I’m thinking. Without the readers a blog will fizzle out and dissapear right? So, I wanted to get some feedback from the readers.
If you could post a comment telling me what you like, what you dont like and most importantly, what you would like to see some/more of then I will do my best to provide you with what you want.
Be honest. Be brutally honest if you like. Some things I’ll change, some things I wont
There will probably be some things that I can’t change but if you let me know, i’ll see what I can do
Thanks for reading X-Series, and thanks for Subscribing to/Advertising the blog.

Thems are undownloadable and it’s not because they are unzipped. Check your download.php file, especially the line where you’re using “header” function.
The point is that this function can only be used before anything is sent to the user. And it appears, that download.php includes classes.php before calling header, which, in turn, outputs some CSS.

I will certainly look into that when I get home this evening. It’s odd because I have checked the stats, and they show people downloading the theme’s so I’m not sure what is going on there but I will have a hunt around and see if I can find any issue.
I don’t actually have a ‘download.php’ file. I entered the URL’s myself manually into the /themes/ page and checked them once I had updated the page and they all worked for me, and are working for some other people so i’m not sure what the problem is :/
I will get it sorted out tonight though
Thanks!

The complete address is http://www.x-series.org/mint/pepper/orderedlist/downloads/download.php
But you’re right, Ie can only reproduce this error in 5 of 10 tries.
Something strange going on here

I think it would be cool to list on the right side of the opening page…the subjects of archieve blogs. I am a tech head and I frequent e-series.com. I like what you are doing here. Very polished.
Since so many of us come into these places with varried levels of E Series insights, I’m always finding new things in the archieves.
Other than that it’s all gravey baybee!

Hi,
Ok, I’ll be brutally honest
).
I think the question is rather what YOU want. I mean, there are already quite a few outstanding blogs out there. If you want this one to survive I think you should find someting special that makes this one different from all the others. What I find a great Idea is combining the E and the N Series in one blog, try making more out of this. What I personally would like to see, is more themes and more reviews of interesting applications (which you are doing quite well up till now). What you could improve (if possible) is more reviews of Hardware (as your blog is dedicated to both the E and the N Series, you have a lot to choose from, it doesn’t always have to be the newest high-end phones) and pics and reviews of cases (I’, always on the search of new cases for my mobiles
Anyway I’ll keep on checking in here and I wish you the best for your blog, keep up the good work.
PS. Sorry fpr any mistakes, I’m from Germany.

Hi,
Thanks so much for the feedback guys.
@Martian
I will add the categories to the sidebar so thanks for that suggestion.
Not quite sure why that one passed me by because obviously having quick access to the subject’s that you are interested in will be helpful.
One of my aims for this blog is to create a unified feel throughout the blog so it doesnt feel ‘thrown together’.
@Bluejacker
I’ll certainly put some further effort into reviewing both hardware and software. I can see that those sections will most likley become the more popular sections as people are hunting around the net for new handsets, and as you said, accessories such as cases.
As for applications, I’m always hunting around for new and useful applications, as well as those which are just cool, so I’ll definitly be reviewing some of the applications I have installed on my phone, as well as any I come across in the future.
I’ll definitly be adding more themes and some cool free ringtones soon (once I figure out what’s going on with the downloads here, something to do with my stats program I think). Instead of adding tens of pages worth of themes I am more aiming to add ones which I think are the best, and by best I mean the ones that have that finished feel to them, and one’s that feel like they are more ‘whole’ than some. I’ll be avoiding those themes where, for example, the clock image just doesn’t fit in with the rest of the theme, but if anyone has any suggestions on themes, then do let me know and I’ll definitly give them a look.
I’ll probably change the way the themes are displayed on here also, possibly some form of theme gallery, otherwise with the size of the current preview images, that page will get very long very quickly.
I’ll be adding a contact form for suggestions/feedback soon as well so the readers can contact me directly
Again, thanks for the honest feedback and I hope you keep reading!

Hi again.
I’ve just got an idea. I think it would be useful to know about the latest firmwares. Right now we have to check it manually
Comment by Vitaliy — 18th May 2007 @ 12:50 pm
Good idea, thanks.
I’ll look into setting up a list displaying the latest firmware for the E and N series handsets

The info I really want, but can’t find much of by googling and browsing…
Which phone sucks the least?
Reviews and comparisons with emphasis on real-life usage, instability, bugs, responsiveness.
BTW, stay the hell away from E70 and Dopod 838pro (HTC hermes). Both slow and bug-ridden.

hey hey hey…I love my E 70. Not to say that a firmware update isn’t due but it’s still the slickest and smallest of superphone choices out there..I’m a hunter and the competitors gawk as soon as I pull out the Xwing commander…lol. But i like the idea gluino about people posting who own these phones and share the real life ups and downs. As for a firmware update here is a web location I frequent..
